IMS Movie & conversation : The song of the forest

On 30 June, IMS Luxembourg is hosting a screening of “Le Chant des Forêts” by Vincent Munier, a film awarded two César prizes in 2026, rare in its slowness, its depth, and the space it gives to emotion. An immersion that touches deeply and reveals the forest as a living, relational and interconnected ecosystem.

This film echoes an essential question: how does our connection to nature influence our mental health, our attention, our behaviours… and the way we care for the living world?

After the screening, a conversation will be offered with Isabel Van De Voorde, mental health specialist and guide in nature reconnection, to explore together the benefits of nature, the complexity of living systems, and the role of our relationship with the natural world in ecological transition.

The evening will conclude with a convivial cocktail. Event in French – open to all – limited seats.

ABOUT

Psychology, nature and commitment

I am a clinical psychologist and coach, with solid experience both in the business world — in Human Resources and Change Management — and in mental health.

When I was seven, I saw a documentary about climate change. I was afraid. And despite decades of knowledge, too little has changed. Today, I often wonder: how do children experience a world where the ecological crisis is now part of daily life?

This question — deeply human — guides my work. I believe that to care for the world, we must first care for our mental health, our attention, our connection to the living world, and our capacity to act.

A scientific and human approach rooted in the living world

Contact with nature and the feeling of connectedness to the living world have profound, scientifically demonstrated effects on the brain, attention, mental health, emotions, behaviour and even identity.

We are biologically made for the living world: our nervous system, our cognition and our regulation mechanisms were shaped in natural environments. It is written in our DNA — we need nature to function optimally.

Nature acts as a powerful lever: it reduces stress, restores attention, strengthens resilience, stimulates creativity and brings back a sense of meaning.

I integrate this power of the living world with psychology, neuroscience and cognitive‑behavioural therapy to support sustainable transformation — for individuals and organisations.

Nature reconnection for mental health and sustainability

I work with individuals, companies, associations and public institutions around two core themes: mental health and sustainability.

I offer:

  • Talks & trainings: neuroscience, attention, stress, behavioural sustainability, culture of sustainability
  • Nature-based workshops & reconnection experiences: forest sessions, sensory practices, nature-based coaching
  • Individual coaching: stress, anxiety, burnout, transitions, loss of meaning
  • Organisational support: biophilic design, cultural transformation, ESG/RSE strategy

Scientific, human and experiential interventions to strengthen mental health, resilience and the capacity to act.
